LIVE Podcast: Why aren’t you left-wing anymore, Harald Martenstein?

In the 1970s, Harald Martenstein was a member of the German Communist Party. For 20 years he was a columnist for „Zeit“—today he writes for „Bild“. And he is defending the AfD against a ban: “On the pretext of defending democracy, one can also abolish democracy.” Whether in the past or today: Harald Martenstein provokes controversy. Why did he distance himself from the Left? Is he on the Right today? Why did his thinking take a different turn? You’ll find out in the next live recording of the podcast based., which aims to return to the roots of journalism: asking questions with curiosity and respect to foster a constructive debate.
